The Basics

You can remortgage at any time, you don’t have to be moving or buying a new house. Often a new lender will offer lower interest rates which may save hundreds, even thousands of pounds, by reducing the total amount of money that is owed over the full term of the loan. Monthly repayments are also reduced which frees up extra cash, meaning you are more financially stable. Remortgaging can also free up money through releasing equity, which could help you release cash to clear any other debts for example, or make home improvements. By releasing some of the available equity in your home, a refinancing remortgage could be a way of raising additional cash for any number of reasons. You could be looking at a newer car or perhaps even considering a holiday in the sun. A refinance remortgage is often seen by many as a way to release money from their home to ease current cash flow problems. Refinancing to better suit your circumstances, means that you can take more control of your finances by spreading current credit over a period that suits you better.

It may make sense to consolidate all your outstanding debts with a debt consolidation remortgage, helping you to take charge of your finances, and freeing up your cash flow. Not only could it reduce your monthly outgoing and make your finance easier to manage with one payment per month, you could also find a much lower APR compared to expensive credit cards, store cards and loans.

Debt consolidation with a debt consolidation remortgage

  • Consolidate and clear all your existing personal loans
  • Credit Card consolidation
  • Consolidate your secured loans into a debt consolidation remortgage
  • Clear your debts and raise money for almost any purpose
  • Clear mortgage arrears or secured loan arrears
  • Pay those bad debts or catch up with late payments on your mortgage

Remortgaging is not difficult and could save you thousands of pounds.

Remortgaging used to be quite a technical process, where you had to shop around and try to understand financial terms and conditions. Today however, in a changing market, lenders are much more competitive often promoting special deals and offers to try and gain new customers. It is still a good idea to shop around as everyones needs and circumstances are different, and the idea of this website is to help you identify your needs, and match them to the right remortgage product for you.
