'Better decisions' made through budgeting

Published: 1 October 2008 in Unsecured Loans

People who keep track of where their money is going will be able to make the best financial decisions, one sector commentator has claimed.

In news that may be of interest to those seeking unsecured loans, independent financial expert Alvin Hall said people should know what they are spending and where it is going in order to have a clear picture of their outgoings.

This meant keeping track of finances to allow individuals to make better decisions on where to cut or reallocate resources.

"People want handling their money to be easy and many people think that easy means without thought, that things should just occur like seeds should grow in a field at spring time and as we know that is not the case," Mr Hall explained.

Those seeking unsecured loans may also be interested to hear that according to Norwich Union, 67 per cent of individuals do not know how much their monthly mortgage payment is.
