A caravan for Christmas

Published: 3 October 2008 in Unsecured Loans

Britons looking to celebrate Christmas in an unusual way this year have been advised by one sector commentator to consider a caravan holiday.

In news that may be of interest to those on the lookout for unsecured loans to fund such a trip, a representative of the Caravan Club said such vacations were a lifestyle for some and this should not just be limited to the summer months.

"Caravaners are a very social group of people anyway so it is a great atmosphere when you are on a site over the Christmas period," she explained.

The spokesperson noted that festive activities may include parties or a get-together over drinks and that is was also a "wonderful" way to see the new year in.

Those seeking unsecured loans may also be interested to hear that the purchasing of caravan holiday homes rose by 12 per cent to 23,150 in 2007, while sales of park homes increased by nearly 15 per cent to over 2,600, according to the National Caravan Council.
