The UK has become "cool"

Published: 24 September 2008 in Unsecured Loans

Britain has now become a "cool" place for people to escape on a short break, according to two sector commentators.

In news that may be of interest to those looking for unsecured loans to fund such a trip, travel journalist Russell Amerasekera, speaking with Dave Hodgson - marketing director from Marketing Birmingham - said the UK's major cities "really do stack up" against the capitals of other nations.

He added that London, Manchester and Birmingham all had a lot to offer in terms of shopping, nightlife, the restaurant experience and culture.

Meanwhile, Mr Hodgson said: "You can go to different places ... and it's only a couple of hours and you are in a completely different city, with a different experience just having the time of your life."

He stated that this was a trend that was likely to continue for "some time to come".

Those searching for unsecured loans may also be interested to hear that research by visitbirmingham.com revealed that three-quarters of people prefer to take breaks with partners rather than friends.
